elite VOLLEYBALL
GIRLS. INDOOR. COMPETITIVE.
NYS Elite (Competitive) Volleyball offers a higher level of competition than our recreational program. Players must have, at minimum, 3 seasons in recreational volleyball or past club experience. (Must be able to correctly perform a bump, a set, a bump pass, a bump set, digs, attacks and blocks. MUST be able to serve overhand from behind the service line.) NYS Elite follows NFHS Volleyball Rules (with a few exceptions) including substitutions and the use of the Libero (Libro). The league is fully competitive and includes standings, playoffs and championships. There is no guaranteed play time.
AGE DIVISIONS:
12U (AGE 12 & UNDER (12 – 10 YEARS OLD)
14U (AGE 14 & UNDER (14 – 12 YEARS OLD)
17U (AGE 17 & UNDER (17 – 14 YEARS OLD)
You may register as a team or individually. If you register individually, without a team association, you may be placed with other free agents to form a new team even if there is no assigned head coach. A parent or parents will need to coach that team as all teams are led by parent volunteers. Uniforms and facilities are not included in the registration price for Elite Volleyball.
